Military Career in Review

Over the course of 20 years of dedicated service in the United States Air Force (USAF), Major Richardson served as an integral part of US Special Operations Command. While serving, Major Richardson directed acquisition strategy and contracting to build predominant air and space command and control capability for joint and combined warfighters through training, testing, exercising, and experimentation under the direction of the USAF Warfare Center. Major Richardson served as the Commanders Representative to US Special Operations Command where he was the science and Technology Advisor to US Special Operations Command, US Central Command and US Souther Command; shaping $4B/yr of Air Force Research investments and procurement contracts.

While in the Air Force, Major Richardson was the Deputy Program Manager for a US Special Operations Command and Control Wing where he directed $200M Acquisition Training Contract Support and $120M Communication & Information Technology Programs, lead teams of 90+ contractors and civilian employees. He Developed and executed acquisition strategy to build predominant air and space command and control capability for joint and combined warfighters. Provided strategic program management/contract oversight and support to subordinate units. 

Major Richardson was in charge of the Miniature Air Launch Decoy (MALD) program. His role for MALD included production, fielding and sustainment of MALD in support of Air Combat Command. He directed $473M MALD Program, which provides warfighter capability to simulate, saturate and deceive enemy IADS. He lead teams of 145+ military, civilian, and contract personnel in developing and flight testing this key warfighter enabler.

Major Richardson served as the Deputy Chief for the US Special Operations Forces, Systems Group where he was responsible for a $17M sustainment contract for Air Force Special Operations Command’s AC-130U Gunships and MC-130H Combat Talons.   

Seasoned Trial Attorney

Attorney Richardson took the leadership and diplomacy skills he gained in the military to the courtroom. After 20 years in the USAF, he retired and attended Stetson University College of Law.

Attorney Richardson began his legal career as an Assistant State Attorney in Florida's 6th Judicial Circuit State Attorney’s Office.  Jean rose quickly to become Lead Trial Attorney in the misdemeanor divisions and was quickly promoted to Felony Prosecutor, surpassing all other attorneys in the pipeline. 

Attorney Richardson found the work as a felony prosecutor to be challenging yet extremely rewarding. He became a trial lawyer in every sense of the word, performing critical analysis of every legal matter his clients face. 

As a prosecutor and now defense attorney, Attorney Richardson has a nearly perfect winning trial record.
