Jean Richardson
Major, USAF (Ret.), MBA, Attorney At Law
Jean retired as a senior military officer from the United States Air Force (USAF) after more than 20 years of distinguished dedicated service. Jean is from Miami, FL and was pleased to finally be stationed somewhat close to home at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, FL. For several years, Jean served as a key part of US Special Operations Command. While serving, Jean managed multi-billion-dollar programs for the Department of Defense, led countless numbers of military and civilian employees and worked closely with both government and industry contracting officers drafting billion-dollar contracts and contract modifications. Jean's work in defense of the US and national security paved the way for his interest in politics and the law.
Jean worked as an Assistant State Attorney in the 6th circuit where he honed his litigation skills and racked up a nearly perfect winning trial record. Jean rose quickly to become Lead Trial Attorney in the misdemeanor divisions and was quickly promoted to Felony. It is this experience that made him an advocate for fair and equal treatment of those accused of crimes, but also a vicious prosecutor.
Jean retired from the USAF and attended Stetson University, College of Law in Gulfport, FL where he earned his Juris Doctorate Degree. Jean received his Masters of Business Administration Degree from Western New England College in Massachusetts in 2001. Jean received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Park University in Missouri in 1998. He is a fluent in both French and Haitian Creole. Self taught, Jean also holds his own when speaking Italian.
Nakeitha Sweeting-Hodrick

Nakeitha Sweeting Hodrick is a seasoned attorney with nearly three decades of legal experience. She specializes in Adoptions, Family Law, Probate, and Guardianship. As a staunch client advocate, Attorney Hodrick is an integral part of our team. Having graduated from Florida A&M University and the University of Miami School of Law, Attorney Hodrick has a long career that includes notable work with the State of Florida, where she handled cases involving child abuse, neglect, and abandonment. This experience has honed her expertise in managing complex and sensitive legal matters with compassion and precision. In addition to her legal practice, Attorney Hodrick is deeply involved in her community and remains dedicated to her clients. Her unwavering commitment to excellence and her thoughtful approach make her a trusted advocate and a respected professional in her field.
Daniel Funes
Attorney at Law - Of Counsel
Many family and criminal cases at Richardson Law Group involve an immigration component. Attorney Daniel Funes works hand-in-hand with our team to assist with the deeper, more complex matters associated with these cases. Attorney Funes has dealt with immigration offices both as an attorney and as an applicant. Attorney Funes specializes in a variety of advanced immigration matters including cases before the U.S. Executive Office for Immigration Review, United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, the Board of Immigration Appeals, the Southern District of Florida, and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Attorney Funes graduated from St. Thomas University in 2002 before pursuing his law degree at the St. Thomas University School of Law. Since being admitted to the Florida Bar in 2012, Attorney Funes has worked exclusively representing clients with removal defense, asylum, adjustment of status (green card), citizenship, waivers, citizenship, release of custody, Temporary Protected Status (TPS), and criminal issues associated with immigration defense and federal litigation.
Stephanie Baptiste Sandaire
Attorney at Law - Of Counsel
With nearly 2 decades of experience practicing law in Florida, Stephanie Baptiste Sandaire is a seasoned trial attorney, that specializes in family law and criminal defense. Her experience and professionalism are critical components that add to the success of Richardson Law Group. She graduated cum laude from the University of Central Florida before receiving her Juris Doctor Degree from Barry University School of Law.
Early in her career, she served as the Former Assistant Attorney General at the Florida Office of the Attorney General. She has also functioned as the Assistant State Attorney at the 7th Circuit of Florida.
She is an active part of the Family Law Section and the Family Law Rules Committee of The Florida Bar. Additionally, she is a member of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Florida Association of Women Lawyers (Manatee & Sarasota Chapters), the Manatee County Bar Association and the Fred G. Minnis Sr. Bar Association.
